Based in Portland, Oregon, photographer Ann Ploeger's work explores contemporary ideas of domesticity. With a background in film studies, her artwork has a unique sense of time, place and narrative. Large format prints of Ploeger's work have been exhibited at the Portland Art Museum, Marylhurst Art Gym, Pushdot Studio, and Blue Sky Gallery. Ploeger's work is also part of the Portland Art Museum's permanent collection. In 2007 William, James & Company published a monograph of her work titled Portraits. She is commissioned throughout the West Coast for various private and non-profit projects.
